An Important COVID-19 Update

UPDATE 03/26/2020 - Drive-Thru Locations Remain Open as Essential Through Colorado Stay-At-Home Order

While these times are uncertain, we remain committed to serving the best part of your day. On March 25th, Govern Polis, of Colorado, issued a state-wide stay-at-home order for all non-essential activity that took effect on Thursday, March 26th. Through that order, our business was classified as essential, which means our drive-thru locations can remain open and are ready to serve you.

As we do stay open, we are committed to remaining proactive and following all mandates set forth by the CDC, public and local health officials to safeguard the health and well-being of our community. Below are the enhanced precautionary measures we are taking at all our locations in addition to our usual rigorous cleaning and food safety procedures:

  • We have enhanced the sanitizing procedures within all our stores. Staff routinely disinfect all surfaces that are touched, including our customer-facing iPads that are used to complete transactions.
  • We will complete a transaction for you with your permission if you would prefer not to touch the iPad.
  • We now offer two order ahead and pay options through our Ziggi’s Coffee mobile app and Alexa Skill.
  • We provide self-sanitizing options for use within our cafe and cafe/drive-thru locations.
  • We have discontinued accepting or preparing drinks in personal reusable cups or mugs until further notice.
  • We will provide alternative options for our “for here” dishware and utensils upon request.
  • Straws remain wrapped, and consequently we have discontinued serving our kidZone drinks with whipped cream on straws until further notice.

UPDATED 03/25/2020 - Cafe Closures

Starting on Wednesday, March 25th, and Thursday, March 26th, the following  cafe locations will be temporarily closed until further notice:

  • Main Street Cafe - 400 Main Street, Longmont, CO 80501
  • Francis Street Cafe - 1139 Francis Street, Longmont, CO 80501
  • Erie Cafe - 3160 Village Vista Drive, Erie, CO 80516

We look forward to re-opening the doors of these locations soon and will post more updates as they become available.

UPDATED 03/16/2020 - Changes to Cafe Locations
In striving to be the best part of your day while safeguarding the health and safety of our customers and employees, we are observing the enhanced safety procedures recommended by the federal government and local health and government officials. Additionally, on March 16th, Governor Polis, of Colorado, issued a 30-day order prohibiting dining within restaurants, including coffee shops.
 
This order restricts customers from enjoying their food and beverages within the dining area but allows customers to order food and beverages within the café and enjoy them in another location. On Tuesday, March 17th, the following procedures will take place at all our locations with a café area:
 
WHAT CHANGES

We have implemented the following temporary measures:

  • Suspended indoor seating.
  • Limited food display items within deli cases to minimize food handling. You may obtain available items, such as breakfast burritos and sandwiches, by requesting them from staff.
  • Relocated items from condiment counters (cream, sugar, stir sticks) to staff-only areas. Condiments are available upon request.
  • There may only be up to 5 people in a cafe lobby at one time and you must remain 6 feet apart.

WHAT REMAINS THE SAME

  • You may enter the café and order to-go food and drink items at the register.
  • You may place an order and pay for it ahead of time through our Ziggi's Coffee mobile app or Alexa Skill and pick it up at any Ziggi's Coffee location.
  • You may visit any of our drive-thru locations for to-go food and drink items.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation, follow further guidance from health and government officials, and will make further changes as necessary. We look forward to returning the cafés to their previous operations as soon as it is safe and prudent to do so.

03/12/2020 - Safeguarding the Well-Being of Our Community

Being your trusted coffee shop establishment is something we highly value. It has always been, and will always be, our responsibility to maintain the safety and well-being of those within our community, including you, our employees, and our partners.

With the growing concern surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to share with you the proactive actions we are taking within our stores to safeguard the well-being of our customers and employees. Below are the increased precautionary measures we’ve implemented in addition to our usual rigorous cleaning and food safety procedures:

  • We have enhanced the sanitizing procedures within all our stores. Staff routinely disinfect all surfaces that are touched, including our customer-facing iPads that are used to complete transactions.
  • If you would prefer to not touch the iPad, we're happy to complete the transaction for you with your permission. We also have two order and pay ahead options through our mobile app and Alexa Skill. This will allow you to place an order and pay fot it from home then pick up at any location.
  • We provide self-sanitizing options for use within our café and café/drive-thru locations.
  • We have discontinued accepting or preparing drinks in personal reusable cups or mugs until further notice. We will provide alternative options for our “for here” dishware and utensils upon request.
  • Straws remain wrapped, and consequently we have discontinued serving our kidZone drinks with whipped cream on straws until further notice.

While our stores remain open for regular operation, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and update our procedures based on recommendations provided by the WHO, CDC, local health, and government officials.

We greatly appreciate your continued trust and understanding as we continue to navigate these uncharted terrirtories together. We will continue being transparent with our actions and update you with any changes to our operations, should they occur.
