Not every business starts with a polished plan. Sometimes it begins with an unexpected duo willing to take a chance.

That’s the story of Brandon and Camrin Knudsen, the husband-and-wife team behind Ziggi’s Coffee. Their journey wasn’t easy – or expected – but it was built on trust, determination, and balance.

When Brandon and Camrin first opened Ziggi’s, they didn’t have a perfect plan – or even much business ownership experience. What they did have was dedication and a willingness to figure it out together.

In the early days, Brandon would often work graveyard shifts before heading straight to open their first Ziggi’s shop, while Camrin kept things steady with their infant son, Elijah, in tow. And when money was tight, they got creative – transforming their first café’s name into Ziggi’s with a small shift of letters and one extra “G” on the storefront signage.

Through it all, their differences became their strength. Brandon is drawn to bold ideas and vision, while Camrin has anchored the business with thoughtful detail and balance. That push and pull has given Ziggi’s the foundation it needs to grow.

There were plenty of moments when the odds seemed stacked against them, but perseverance carried them forward. What began as an unlikely duo behind the counter has grown into a thriving national coffee franchise.  

That scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit is still what drives Ziggi’s today – and it’s what makes their story the perfect example of an Unexpected Duo.
